Presentation of the Green Hydrogen Project: GreenHysland Green Hydrogen Project to King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands

Antón Martínez Rodríguez, CEO of Enagás Renovable, and Belén Linares Corell, Director of Innovation at ACCIONA Energía, had the honour of presenting Mallorca’s leading Green Hydrogen Hub, GreenHysland. The event took place during the working day entitled: “The contribution of hydrogen valleys to the decarbonisation of Europe”, where the leading figure was King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands.

Within the framework of this meeting, Power to Green H2 Mallorca, an initiative coordinated by Enagás Renovable and led by Enagás together with Acciona Energía with the collaboration of IDAE and CEMEX, was presented to the audience, forming an integral part of the European #GreenHysland project. King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands witnessed first-hand the advances and aspirations in the field of green energy at an event that brought together industry leaders and experts.

The aim of the event was to foster bilateral cooperation between Spain and the Netherlands, establishing a forum to discuss and share strategies around green hydrogen, a resource of vital importance in the decarbonization of the European region. The working day brought together companies from both countries, all of them committed to the development of green hydrogen and the promotion of hydrogen valleys in both Spain and the Netherlands.

This event has marked a milestone in the history of sustainable energy, bringing together industry leaders and experts to discuss and promote the key role that green hydrogen plays in the transformation of energy systems, and reinforces the importance of international collaboration in the search for innovative and sustainable solutions to the energy challenges of the 21st century.
